DuraTuff
DuraTuff products are treated with a special thermal afterprocess for “pressed” tumblers and stemware. The Libbey glassware lines that have undergone the DuraTuff process are: Gibraltar, Winchester, Inverness, Paneled Tumblers, Everest and Dakota. The DuraTuff process increases the upper portion of the glassware’s resistance to both thermal (temperature changes) and mechanical (bumping) shock. Obviously this procedure increases the service life of the treated products. Libbey also offers DuraTuff plates and bowls.
